Everything's ready for the broadcast of "Alakrana" in Telecinco this fall
We are on postproduction of “Alakrana”, the TV miniseries directed by Salvador Calvo, written by Jorge Guerricaechevarria and coproduced with Telecinco Cinema and Fausto P.C. Actors Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Francesc Orella take the main roles, and the cast also includes Carlos Hipólito, Cristina Plazas, Babou Cham, Fernando Cayo, Antonio Velázquez and Irene Montalà, among others. Telecinco will premiere it during the fall.

Zentropa orders"Tasting Menu" by Roger Gual
As it was announced during the last Cannes Film Festival, Zentropa Spain is going to produce talented Roger Gual’s next film, “Tasting Menu”. It is a romantic comedy set during the last night of Ferran Adrià’s restaurant elBulli. Silvia González Laá, Roger Gual and the scriptwriter and novelist Javier Calvo write the script.

Carla Subirana's"Flying" this September
We are currently shooting “Flying”, a feature documentary directed by Carla Subirana and coproduced with Pandora Cinema, in collaboration with the Master of Creative Documentary of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona. The filmmaker, inspired by observational cinema, proposes a study of gestuality with a special focus on the women’s role in an environment of male hegemony, and on the loss of individuality when integrating with the mass.

New techs and R&D: Machinima + virtual worlds= "Vlogger", by Ricard Gras
During the third quarter of the year we’ll start shooting “Vlogger”, a political thriller set in virtual worlds directed by Ricard Gras.

Zentropa Spain's first production: "Alakrana"
Our new year begins developing ALAKRANA, a project who has Jorge Guerricoechevarria on the script, and Salvador Calvo as director. This is an adventure with Telecinco and Fausto. We will be announcing more soon.

"Melancholia": Next film by Lars von Trier
After "Antichrist", Danish director Lars von Trier is announcing his next project -- a psychological disaster film titled "Planet Melancholia."
Lars von Trier will write and direct English-language feature. Promised to be a mix of spectacular, cinematic imagery with Dogme-style handheld camerawork - a combination seen in "Antichrist." "No more happy endings!" was von Trier's only comment.
